Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) is a nonprofit serving Orange, Putnam, Sullivan and Ulster Counties in New York. We provide mediation, education and training to promote peaceful resolution of conflict. Programs include:

Mediation: a voluntary, confidential settlement process used by families and community members, as an alternative to going to court
Divorce Mediation: a respectful way to end marriage without going to court
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate): a specially trained volunteer who acts as a neutral party in family court matters, monitoring court orders and acting as the voice of the child
SAGE (Special Advocates for a Greater Education): Volunteer mentors who support children in foster care, or children who are residing within a home where a neglected petition is pending, to help the child be more successful in school
Healthy Parenting: Parent education classes that teach healthy and effective ways to parent successfully
Parents Apart: Educational classes for parents who are separated or unmarried, teach how to emotionally support children during transition, learn effective parenting apart strategies and find practical legal information
Managing Anger & Aggression Program (MAAP): learn how to control your anger and get back on track when you are feeling misunderstood, angry, antagonized or provoked
