September 2026 Updates
CEC is pleased to announce that we awarded six area high school graduates with scholarships of $1000.00 each to pursue their education in college and/or technical schools. Congratulations to all!
Applications for 2027 graduates will be available in January. Please contact CEC for further information.
Plans are being made for a busy fall and winter. Again this year, we will be providing approximately 125 children with requested holiday gifts, plus hand knit hats and mittens. Fundraisers such as yard sales and holiday gift wrapping at the Galleria Mall are also on the calendar. We welcome volunteers to give whatever time you have to help with these activities. Simply send us an email and we will be happy to give information.
We are excited to begin a new collaboration with Merakey in Newburgh. The new school year was kicked off by providing 28 children in their care with school supplies and toiletries.
