Parents Apart Program

Duration:

Total of five hours, two sessions of 2.5 hours each. Participants must attend both sessions and will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Has your family structure changed as a result of separation or divorce?  Help your kids cope with the changes. Parents who are separated, divorced or unmarried will learn about:

• What kids need, and how to give it to them, during separation/divorce
• How to protect kids from conflict
• Effective and practical parenting apart strategies
• Communication skills and active listening

Classes are taught live virtually on Zoom and are available to the public.  Attendees can be self-referred, court-referred, or referred from any county, private agency, attorney, or other individual.
